Today I thought would be productive for us. I thought finally I would be able to see 17 Again. Yeah, that was a nice thought. The kids got me up several times this morning, I finally gave in and got out of bed around 8:30.
I fixed breakfast for them and then for myself. Then I shaved and got a shower. It was great. I put on some jeans, socks and said I'd go downstairs to get a shirt.
I decided to get the difficult task of the day over with. I closed all of the doors and went searching for my little shy girl. I caught her without too much effort. I trimmed her claws as she protested. Then the house returned to normal.
I thought while I was waiting for my partner to wake up I'd watch a DVD. I put in Gay Getaways Las Vegas. The theme song is cheesy. The DVD is all about the gay side of Vegas. They have something called the Fruit Loop. No kidding. Anyway, after I watched a half hour of this I was comatose. I never even remember falling asleep. Yep, it's a yawn - boring - must sleep DVD. I'm sure there is some beneficial information but I couldn't bare to sit through it. So back to Netflix it goes!
My partner woke up but unfortunately, I was out cold. He thought maybe I was downstairs ignoring him. So he called me and left me a voice mail. I saw the blinking light when I woke up but didn't equate it to him, since we are in the same house.
I asked him if he wanted to go to the movies, he said nope. He would rather visit a friend who is in the hospital. Yeah, okay. I gave into that the next thing I knew he was telling me he didn't feel good. So he went back to bed. Guess what I did? Yep, went back to bed too.
We both slept the freaking day away. For supper we headed out to Outback Steakhouse. It was a $60 (USD) meal. Of course, I kept it cheap but Mr. Hungry ordered it up. Hence why our bill was so high. We have both noticed that no matter where you go every place is cutting back. Smaller portions, some of the extras you were used to are no longer included. It's just all signs of the times and the US Economy. I really hope that things turn around for the positive in the this country, soon. But I realize it didn't fall apart overnight. I'm just lacking in the patience department when it comes to money and the economy.
We stopped off and got some food for the kids. Then returned home. Yeah, no grocery store either. My Partner wants to put that off. I've got enough food that I won't starve at lunch. Plus I can always step out and pick something up. Breakfast is my only concern and I am fine there, so we agreed to hold off for a couple days.
I have played on the computer and managed to get my desk cleaned. So the day wasn't a total loss, but I just hate that I slept most of it away. :(
The best thing I did for myself was to separate my desk speakers. I had them both right by the monitor. They provided amazing sound but I was missing so much. I put them far apart and now I am showering my self with tunes. Ah, Bose Speakers are the BOMB! I love these things and can't imagine listening to anything else at home, now that I have been spoiled. If you have extra cash, treat yourself to a pair - they are well worth the money.
I am kind of depressed and worried. A Vlogger that I watched for a while decided to call it quits. I'm not exactly sure why but he pulled the plug. His account has been closed on You Tube. I so looked forward to his videos. Ah, maybe he will come back but one never knows for sure. I just hope he's okay. I'll get over this in a day or so - I mean I have no choice in the matter. It's just sad to see people go. Especially with no warning, but then again if you drop dead there is no warning to that either.
Well, it's off to prepare for yet another Monday. I hope you all have an excellent week!

Thanks for your comment! I am afraid to take that big risk by asking this classmate of mine. At least I wanna be friend with him.
