Sick & Tired

Yes, I am under the weather.  It started with what I thought was an allergy attack.  I asked my doctor for some steroids, but much to my dismay he said no.  So, I had to go to an Urgent Care Clinic and I got a shot of steroids in my ass.  Yeah, I didn't feel much but it's a little sore now.  I got an antibiotic and some Allegra-D, to take along with my regular medicine.

All I want to do is sleep but you can't accomplish a thing other than getting rested up.  Plus I've had some really strange dreams.  Last night things were pretty bad so in addition to all of the medicine I was taking I added 2 Benadryl tabs.  Yeah, lights out but it took a while to take effect.

So, I found myself television less.  That is to say I watched everything I TiVo'd.  What should I do?  Yeah, your dirty mind probably was thinking of something naughty.  Well, I channel surfed.  I landed on BBC America watching The Graham Norton Show.  He is different to sum it up in a few words.

The guests on the star were Zac Efron, some swimming guy and The Pet Shop Boys.  I didn't see that much of Zac but I wouldn't kick him out of my bed for any reason.  Anyway, the Pet Shop Boys closed out the show with a song called Love.  It's on their new album.  I love it and just can't hear it enough.  A video from You Tube appears below, take a listen for yourself and hear what I'm talking about.

On Saturday morning while I was laying around waiting to hear from my Doctors Office, I was awakened by some noise on the lawn.  Yep, Lawn Boy was back.  He did some work for us with a Bobcat.  We disrupted the neighbors cable service, which was unfortunate but stuff happens.  I just watched Lawn Boy after he got out of the Bobcat, man his figure hasn't changed.  He had on Levi's which is a first. Normally he shows up in Shorts.  Wow, they made his butt look even more delicious.  Yep, I know some of you probably want pictures.  Well, sorry to say I didn't take any.

The neighbor is cool thus far with the cable.  I called the Cable Company but they can't talk to me for privacy reasons.  Yeah, I'm telling you a freakin cable was cut, come fix it.  Nope, the neighbor has to call.  Too bad they have VOIP and that's powered by you guessed it Cable.  No Internet, no phone and no TV.  Wow, that sucks!  Thankfully, they have a cell phone.  No cable guy today, perhaps tomorrow.  If it was me I would be screaming at the cable company to get my service restored.  I'm sure they won't be replacing the line for free.  I don't care charge as much as you want, it's Lawn Boy's bill not ours.  Heck, where he was working there shouldn't have been anything buried except tree roots.

That's about the highlights.  Since I have laid around I didn't get everything I wanted to finished.  I've got Monday off and it's a day chocked full of stuff to do.  I've got the movies down because I want to go check out Paul Walker in Fast & Furious.  Yeah, he's hot and the movie should be good.  If not tomorrow then we have to see it over next weekend.

I stayed at work very late on Friday, it was an extra long day.  But part of that was planned.  I think I worked myself sick.  That along with the recent temperature changes didn't do much good for my body.  Anyway, the planned work had a minor snafu but over all everything came out fine.  The stress level at work is affecting our new guy as much as it's affecting me.  I was a bit of a bitch on Friday and had to apologize for it.  It just seems like I'm some kind of cape wearing super hero that everyone expects me to click my heels and it will solve all of their problems.  Sorry, life don't work that way.

I saw a documentary from the BBC called The Most Hated Family in America.  It was about the Phelps Family.  You know the God Hates Fags people.  I watched and thought gee what if they are right.  Not that God Hates Fags but that I might not be going to heaven.  No my believes didn't change but I do think everyone will be surprised one day when they have Judgement Day.  Every religion would have you believe that their way is right.  Who really knows what is right?  I'd tell you my way but that might not be correct.  You could say it was your way but again, you might not be correct.  So, all we can do is continue on with how we believe and hope that were doing it right.  I am gay and I enjoy looking at and thinking about other men.  However, I am also a Christian.  I think the two can go hand in hand, with no problem at all.  That's just how I see it.

I also saw the movie Pedro that MTV put together.  Wow, it was amazing.  I never knew so much about Pedro and what he went through.  I know he had a hard life but this movie really puts it in to perspective.  He has touched so many people and made quite an impression upon the entire world.  I don't think I could be as brave as he was.  What a true hero, who's life was cut short because of AIDS.

Well, my eyes are starting to glaze over.  I've got to switch out the laundry and then get ready for bed.  I have a big day tomorrow and I'd like to get everything done, so that I can finally relax!

Later Guys & Gals.

A lot of people will one day pass over to the Other Side and be completely surprised at all those they "thought would never go to Heaven" are there too! I hope you feel better soon Jer. Have a good day off!

I loved that Real World season. It was so moving. Pedro was awesome and opened peoples eyes about gay people and about AIDS.
