I was really under the weather. I wound up taking all week, with the exception of Friday off. Yeah, that totally wasn't in the cards.
I went to try to see my doctor but he wasn't available. So I got stuck with a Nurse Practitioner. She gave me the usual steroids and antibiotics. I got a note for work and then left.
Thanks to having a BlackBerry I wasn't too far from work. I was pestered but only when I chose to look at the device. No phone calls, so in my mind that means no emergencies. Right? Exactly, everyone that was on sight took care of the high priority stuff.
I went back to some what of a train wreck but it will all work out, it always does.
The week ahead is going to be very trying not only trying to play catchup from last week but in also dealing with all of the stuff that normally comes my way during the week. It's very clear that I'm the glue that holds our little department together. Am I bragging? Yep, why not no one else will. :)
So as you can imagine with being home the 4 walls started to close in on me. Then I discovered that somehow we are getting free Showtime & The Movie Channel. Eh, life's not so boring now. I watched a few movies. That helped pass time and take my mind off of how I was feeling.
Of course I managed to mess up my sleep schedule. But, everything will be going to back to normal this week. Yeah, for those of you wondering I had "horny" time too. However, most of the time I was away from the computer, porn and just living a normal life. Shocking isn't it?
I did get in some new sex toys. I gave in to my desires two weeks ago and finally Friday, they arrived. I hate waiting for things, especially erotic material.
What did I get? I knew you'd want to know.
Japanese Nipple Clamps.
Keychain Nipple Clamps.
Penis Head Ring with Pressure Point.
The Japanese Nipple Clamps are awesome. They are probably the best set of nipple toys that I own. The Keychain ones look interesting, but I can't get them to stay on. The Penis Head Ring well the idea behind that is to put it on when your not hard. I have yet to manage that. I have gotten it on and even though it's not being worn right I still get pleasure from it. I'm going to keep trying to put it on correctly.
There have been some new porn films released that helped me take my toys for a test drive. So that was fun!
Speaking of the movies I finally got to the local theatre yesterday to see Fast & Furious.
The plot was total action, like all of the other movies. I was disappointed because there were no shirtless scenes with Paul Walker, which was my whole motivation for wanting to see the movies. If you like Lesbian action, there was plenty of that in this movies. Also, girls in general - so if your a straight guy you'll be happy with the ladies that are shown.
The movie ended similar to all of the others, to create the impression that there won't be another sequel. However, I think this is one series of movies that can keep going.
Nice cars, Paul Walker and action. Wow, hold on it's a bumpy ride!
We went out for a bite to eat before the movie. I managed to drop my own personal BlackBerry face down on concrete. It fell apart. The back flew off, the battery came out and my SIM card came loose. I picked up the pieces and put it back together. The trackball housing came loose but a quick press with my thumb put that back together. Not one scratch and it still works! Yep, I was just as amazes as you are. I don't suggest you try to endurance test your BlackBerry because eventually they do fail. However, this was my first fall on concrete that a phone I owned survived, so I am very impressed.
I stopped by the Eye Doctor to get a second pair of glasses. I almost had to beg them but after a quick discussion they realized I wanted computer glasses, not normal everyday glasses. I picked out a frame and I was on my way in minutes to spending close to $400 for computer glasses. Yeah, the frame was pricey but I've got an FSA this year and I need to use some funds. I figure this plus my doctor & doc in the box visits, will put a healthy dent in my FSA remaining dollars. I don't want to drain it all at once but I'd like to ensure I don't loose any money.
For the first time I filed an Amended Tax Form. We got this tax credit from work and it means more money in my pocket. So why not. I only had to re-file state returns and not Federal. Of course since it's so close to the deadline, I will probably have to wait a bit to get my money. That's okay just as long as it doesn't cause any problems.
I also managed to get my car Emission Inspected. That took less than 4 minutes and I passed and was on my way. I just had to pull in to the test bay, hop out and go to some glass room. The tech did the rest with hooking up to my car's computer and then they start and stop the engine. That's it, the computer does all of the work. Then they get you to go back to your car and once your there they tell you if you pass or fail. Not too bad. I've never failed yet. Hopefully, this is the last inspection I have to go through because my plans are to get a new vehicle later this year.
On a different note, I needed to trim the kids claws. I accomplished this over a couple days. The females tend to give me the most problems. Imagine that! I guess they are afraid I will take too much of their claws away. Anyway, one of the boys pulled off his "secret weapon claw". That's what I call the 5th claw that acts or resembles a thumb. Yeah, there is nothing there. I can't imagine how he did that. I have looked all over the house. No blood, no claw. I'm not sure how he accomplished it. However, I felt really bad and thought of the time I slammed my finger in a car door taking off my finger nail. I was very young but screamed very loud.
For all of you that celebrate, Happy Easter. Today was a lounge day for me. The partner made Ham & Potato Salad. We of course have enough food to feed most of the neighborhood. All of the fridges are full to gills. I can see it now. Ham & Potato Salad for days and days on end. I had a Cheeseburger for supper and it was good. I'm getting ready to fix another one, that's how much I enjoyed it.
Before I go, I wanted to let you know I heard from my friend. Her husband had his first chemo treatment this week. They managed to cause his lung to collapse when they biopsied for cancer. Thankfully, it was only scar tissue. Unfortunately, he had to spend a couple days in the hospital while they patched up his lung. So, all appears okay at this point. I know they did find cancer in other parts of his body, but she didn't go into that. As you can probably imagine she spends a lot of time on the phone trying to keep everyone updated, so I tried not to ask too many questions.
First, I need to tend to the laundry and get my lunch made. Then I'll have my snack and head back to watching TV. I'm sure there isn't anything good on, so I will probably find a movie to curl up with. Then it's lights out and time for bed. I'll hate the morning but I think I will feel much better after tomorrow is over with. There is just something about getting Monday behind you.
I hope that all of you have been well and had a great Easter. Thanks as always for your visit and for keeping my friend & her family in your thoughts and prayers.
