SAD WEEK

Wow, first it was Ed McMahon.  Then I heard Farah Fawcett today and just a little bit ago I found out about Michael Jackson.  In case your living under a rock or just haven't heard all of these people died this week.

It's just a subtle reminder that tomorrow isn't promised to any of us.  Don't take anyone for granted.  Now go hug someone or something that you love!  It will make your day better.

My review went okay but I had to argue about my pay raise.  I was promised something and didn't get it.  That pissed me off.  Yeah, mess with my money and that will surely anger me.  Anyway, the next day I was told that I got what I wanted and a few dollars more.  Not too shabby.  My review was stellar - you couldn't ask for anything better.  It's the best review I have had since I started working.

I also got a call from our alarm company the same day, they wanted to know if they lowered the rates if I would sign another contract for a few years.  Hell, why wouldn't I.  They just sent me a note a couple weeks back that the rates were going up.  This really made my day. 

It's taken more than 24 hours but I am finally able to upgrade my cell phone.  I found a new BlackBerry that I want.  I can get it on-line but prefer to pick it up in the store if I can. So tomorrow night I think we will be stopping in to the AT&T Store and maybe just maybe the same cute guy will wait on me and I will be able to get him to turn around!  Ah, that would be swell.  If they don't have the phone in the store, then I will do the on-line thing but I just can't stand waiting.  Of course BlackBerry had to change to a micro USB connection, that means that I have to get a new car charger.  I might also have to buy a new charging pod, but will wait to see.  It's sort of a middle of the road phone where they take some features from the Storm and incorporate them on a Curve.  I'm looking at the Curve 8900 in case anyone is interested.  It also weighs less but not by much.  I just hope I don't have to get a new case, that would just suck.  The best part is that it's $106.92 cheaper than the I-Phone I returned and that's with a new case & car charger. 

Well, folks it's getting late again.  I've got some business to tend to and then it's upstairs to prepare for what will be the last day of the week.  TGIF - everyone have an awesome weekend.
