Update & Eye Candy

 

2 day weekends go by a lot faster than 3 day weekends!  Things are moving right along.  Work is well work.  I actually went in today to accomplish something I couldn't do during the week because of so many people interrupting me.  As far as I know I was successful, we will find out for sure tomorrow!

I got my ears lowered on Saturday.  The girl who shampooed me barley touched my head.  I hate that it's like a bad orgasm.  Next time me thinks I will go the extra distance to a different hair cutting store to get Big momma so she can pound my scalp.  I just enjoy a good shampoo.  It's a massage for your head.

 

I just realized that this week is massage week.  I need it too!  My back is bothering me from some work I did around the house today.  Plus I've got a sore foot.  I think it's time for a new pair of shoes.  However, to try to avoid getting new shoes, I just got new inserts we will see how that works out.  I just hate a sore foot, it cramps up on me and it feels like a Charlie horse in my foot.

 

I checked on my tax refund and one of the states I file in still has no record of my amended return.  So I'm sending them a copy along with a nice note Certified Mail.  Hopefully, this will get them on the ball and I will get my refund check soon.  I can certainly use extra money!

Life is moving at 100mph today.  It's hot outside and it seems like at least once per day we get rain.  I am tired of rain and high humidity but I guess it's all apart of summer. 

The deck is moving right along.  There was some construction done on Saturday.  We are at a stand still until the lumber company gets in the rest of the back ordered items.  Hopefully, that won't be too terribly long.  I can't wait until the garage is cleaned out and my partners suv is back in the garage.  It will make unloading groceries much easier.

 

I had to get an oil change today.  Well I didn't have to but it was time so I stopped in at the local quick change place.  They were anything but quick.  I picked a location out of my way, because they have some good looking eye candy.  Not today, it was a girl and a bunch of guys that didn't do a thing for me.  They did take care of my car though.  Einstein told me that my cooling system was my radiator.  Wow, I would have never figured that out.  He also asked me what I would like my tires set at, I said 40 pounds.  He said the mfg recommends 32 so that is what he did.  WTF.  Why ask me what I want then?  Now I have to go put air in my tires.  I chew through tires at 32 but keep them set to 40 and there are no problems.  I had a burnt out license plate bulb.  They wanted to change it but didn't have the bulb.  I went to the auto parts store myself and changed both bulbs by myself.  I saved some $$ doing it on my own.  Plus I got the last package of bulbs the parts store had.  Not too shabby.

 

We have been eating a lot of fast food lately.  I keep thinking that isn't good for the body and I keep wondering if either one of us is going to keel over from heart failure.  It just seems as if there isn't enough time in the day for either one of us.

Hence the combo post.  I need to grab the last bit of laundry and get it put away.  Then it's time to prepare for yet another Monday!
