Sloppy Joes for Breakfast

The children were crying this morning so I decided since it was 9 AM I should at least feed them breakfast.  I found that my partner was up already.  The children were fed but of course wanted more so they were hoping I would give in.  No such luck. 

My partner was sitting at the table chowing down on Sloppy Joe he made it for our breakfast.  That’s one meal that he hardly ever makes.  He is of the belief or opinion that food is just food and it doesn’t matter when you eat it.  Sort of like having White Castle for breakfast. 

I went back to bed, tossed and turned but there was no getting back to sleep.  So I got up and had some cereal and a piece of bakery.  Then grabbed a shower, got dressed and was ready to go.  Only problem my stomach said your not ready to go anywhere.

Not sure if my body is in weight loss mode or if I got sick from something but all I can tell you is that for about the next hour I was in pain on and off again.  Used the bathroom and I’ve been back several times since. 

We did leave the house to pay a couple bills and to go grocery shopping.  I was told we needed a few things.  I had no idea that we were going to buy the store again.  I picked up some frozen lasagna and some frozen cheese garlic bread.  That was my supper and the next meal that I ate many hours later.  Lasagna was great as usual but frozen cheese garlic bread, ick. 

I’ve completed watching Shameless via Showtime on Demand.  I did something different this time in catching up on a show and watched the entire series backwards.  Made it a bit more fun to follow.  Thankfully the show is only in it’s 2nd season.  Now I can’t wait for my next dose on Sunday.  Hopefully Nurse Jackie will be back soon as well.  Why is it most every series I enjoy on Showtime has drugs in it? 

Tomorrow we visit an ENT Doctor to get new hearing aids for my partner.  I hope this place is the same place that is on the provider list.  I don’t want to hop to another hearing aid place.  I miss the good old days of insurance where you could go where you wanted instead of having to cave to the insurance companies list of providers.  Anyway, tomorrow should be fun because a bunch of winter is about to arrive.  Supposed to be a real bad day tomorrow.  Then again if you believe what is in the media you wouldn’t want to leave your house much less do anything else for fear that it might kill you.

I will be the driver tomorrow.  I’m not worried about it, there won’t be any ice until after dark.  See it’s suppose to snow over night, then thaw during the day and at night time it will refreeze forming ice.  Yeah, okay.  It really is hard to grasp that we are in January with all of the nice weather.  Today it was in the upper 50’s, no jacket required!

Off to surf the net for a little bit, then it will be time for my evening routine and back to bed.  We did get two lottery tickets today so maybe some luck will come our way.  That would be super then I could give up looking for work and hire some folks to work for me.  Dreams cost nothing, so might as well dream often!
